In addition to full conservation treatments, the studio offers condition and examination reports, photo documentation of treatments, as well as on-site consultation and examination of artworks. We also offer consultation on collection care maintenance, which includes framing and storage.

Our clients include museums, auction houses, art dealers, private collectors and corporations, insurance companies as well as framers.

Works of art include prints, drawings, watercolors, documents and letters, posters, book pages and fans. Surface treatments include removal of tapes and adhesives, dirt, mold and other accretions, as well as stain removal caused by water damage or contact with acidic framing materials.

Structural treatments involve mending tears, filling holes, relaxing creases and buckling with humidification. If the paper is very weak and brittle, a supportive lining of Japanese paper may be attached to the verso of the work of art.
